On Thursday, May 24, 2012, Garuda Indonesia re-opened its Jakarta – Taipei service. Symbolically, the reinstatement flight number GA 852 was seen off by Garuda Indonesia EVP Sales & Marketing, Elisa Lumbantoruan at Gate E4 Terminal 2 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero)Tbk (Garuda), has placed a firm order with Airbus for eleven more A330-300 widebody aircraft. The contract was signed today in Jakarta by Emirsyah Satar, President & CEO, Garuda Indonesia and Tom Williams, Executive Vice President, Programmes, Airbus.
PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (“Garuda”) ended the year 2011 by booking an (audited) income of IDR 27,2 trillion, which was a rise by 39,1 percent compared to the IDR 19,5 trillion booked in the previous year.
